Justin and Paula King
If we were thinking that simplicity of design and a modern aesthetic are what we’ve always wanted – then we’ve certainly found that in partners Justin and Paula King of Rexhill Furniture. That we get this from a local design and craftsmanship studio in Beacon New York, all the better.
Housed in the old metal shop of the repurposed Beacon High School – this duo are inspired by the industrial history of the Hudson Valley and traditional artisanship of making furniture by hand.
In addition to carrying a select group of Rexhill furniture and lighting, Andrew and I also collaborated on an exquisite end-table in walnut burl veneer with a nod to Milo Baughman.
Congratulations also for being named a Design Finalist in the 2014 Martha Stewart American Made Awards, honoring makers, small-business owners, and creative entrepreneurs in the fields of crafts, design, food, and style.
