Florence Italy born Tommaso Barbi (b. 1944) contributed a significant number of furniture & lighting pieces starting in the 1970s with a particular taste for a post-modern decorative style. This coffee table shows his talent for design with a beautiful grain pattern to the stained cherrywood used throughout. The floating and beveled top is held aloft by four brass globes with inset brass trim that ties it together. A central brass design element to the top and four square brass feet complete the scene.
