Early 20th century Thonet bentwood B-47 armchair, Czech

 Probably from the 1930s or early 1940s - a classic design for the office created by the merged Thonet-Mundus furniture company (1924). Curved forms are used throughout the design with arching bentwood arms, curved back legs that support an ergonomically shaped back. The chairs have been nicely polished and have a diminutive form. Czechoslovakia. Seat height : 18.1".
