A prolific designer who created beautiful pieces for many of the leading Danish firms during the heyday of the Scandinavian Modernist movement. Trained under Finn Juhl, Arne Vodder (1926-2009) always presented classic organic forms - including his Model 53 sofa with a high and softly buttoned back. This 2-seater has solid oakwood legs and newly upholstered in a striking orange Kvadrat wool. Produced in Denmark 1950s by Nielaus.
